Encouraging Transformation and Upgrade of Chinese Enterprises
by Using Management Software

December 27, Beijing. Premier of the State Council Wen Jiabao visited UFIDA Software Company during his inspection of Zhongguancun Hi-Tech Park, and UFIDA hosted the Zhongguancun Hi-Tech Park Re-development Forum at UFIDA Park.

The Premier’s motorcade came to UFIDA Software Park No. 1 R&D center at 10 a.m. and he inspected the U9 and NC departments. Seeing Premier Wen, all the busy-working researchers stood up and warmly applauded for welcoming. Wen cordially shook hands, took photos and exchanged greetings with the staff in a harmonious atmosphere. Wen said that there are two keys for developing software, one is the brain and the other is market, both of which are infinite. He hopes the scientific developers not only actively respond to the immediate difficulties caused by financial crisis, but also make efforts for the long-term development of the nation, and encourage everyone to take the initiative and make innovation, using the knowledge and technology to provide service for the economics and enterprises. The developers happily spoke that the arrival of Premier Wen is the largest inspiration for the technological workers, and Wen responded that being together with the technologists is also an encouragement for the government and all the members.

During accompaniment to Premier Wen in the process of inspection, Mr. Wang Wenjing reported the creation and development of UFIDA, how UFIDA management software assists in the transformation of Chinese enterprises, and policy suggestion of further developing Chinese software industry. In addition, he presented Wen a new book named Local Ambition that reflects 20 years development of UFIDA. Premier praised and recognized UFIDA for its success and encouraged UFIDA management software to provide service in such field. He claimed that software industry is an industry of urgent need and is future-oriented. The government will continually encourage the development of software industry.

After the inspection, Premier Wen hosted the Zhongguancun Science Park Development Forum at multi-function hall in No. 1 R&D center in UFIDA Park. The guests who attended the Forum included State Councilor Liu Yandong, vice chairman of NPC and CAS President Lu Yongxiang, vice chairman of the CPPCC and Science and Technology Minister Wan Gang, Minister of Finance Xie Xuren, State Administration of Taxation Director Xiao Jie, Director of the Research Office of the State Council Xie Fuzhan, China Securities Regulatory Commission Chairman Shang Fulin, China Banking Regulatory Commission Chairman Liu Mingkang, deputy Director of National Development and Reform Committee Zhang Xiaoqiang, director of the Prime Minister’s Office Qiu Xiaoxiong, Beijing Municipal Committee of the CPC Secretary Liu Qi, Beijing Mayor Guo Jinlong and other leaders, together with leaders of Zhongguancun scientific enterprises such as Legend Holdings president Liu Chuanzhi, SMIC Micro chairman Deng Zhonghan, UFIDA chairman Wang Wenjing, and also leaders from research institutes and universities like academicians Li Guojie and Li Wei. Wen affirmed the 20 years successful development of Zhongguancun Science Park, and encourages the companies to make bold innovations and accelerate development, building the Park as an independent innovation demonstration area, and made important policy deployment for improving re-development of the Zhongguancun Science Park in the new era.

Faced with the current economic situation, Wen called on the attendees to take the nation into prior consideration, going deep into the enterprise and help them to solve problems, improve management and develop products in innovative technologies, making due contributions to overcome difficulties and maintain stable and rapid economic development.

Based on the insight into enterprise customers challenges on current situation, UFIDA has released an “Accelerator Program” two months before to help the enterprises in transformation and upgrading with management software, reducing their costs, improving efficiency, rapid response to market, improve management level and control the operation risks, help them meeting the next round economic cycle from transformation and upgrading. UFIDA will continue pushing this program under the affirmation and encouragement by Premier Wen, providing service with technology and knowledge.

Premier Wen’s inspection is a consummation of UFIDA 20th anniversary. This is a memorable day for all the UFIDA employees in its history of development.
