UFIDA U9 V1.5 is a full-fledged Enterprise SOA Suite with business applications for finance, supply-chain management, manufacturing, human resources, and more. U9 is a web-based ERP suite, and supports IE and Office 2007 client side manipulating enterprise business data.

On March 20, Microsoft has launched a new version of IE, the IE 8. UFIDA U9 takes IE as the recommended browser for enterprise users, and after evaluation when IE 8 was still in Beta, U9 team found IE8 was a faster and safer brower, and was suitable for enterprise users to conduct business operations.

During recent tests U9 on IE8 RTM, results show that U9 client side runs even faster on IE8 than IE7. We select three groups of using scenarios, each group contains 9 interactions, and we measure the time spent on sending requests, getting response, and processing responses. To evaluate how IE behave in these interactions, we focus on sending requests and processing responses, which illuminating the actual time IE spending on processing.

Testing results showed U9 average response time had decreased 168%, which means users will have more productive web client experience comparing to IE 7.

UFIDA U9 product team will continue to make full advantage of IE 8 new features, including including faster Jscript engine, more productive layout engine, parallel downloads, developer tools, etc, to provide better experience, faster and safer web client side for U9 enterprise customers.
